
Malakeia Scott, LCSW
With over 10 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Malakeia Scott brings a wealth of expertise to the practice. A proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University with a Master’s in Social Work, she began her career counseling adolescents and teens with the South Carolina Department of Mental Health and continued with roles in hospice care and as a Therapeutic Support Specialist in the Division of Children and Family State Office Unit.
Malakeia understands that the path to self-discovery and authenticity can be complex, and she is passionate about empowering individuals to reshape their personal stories and achieve meaningful change. She integrates trauma-informed care, advocacy, narrative therapy, and a strength-based, Afrocentric, and humanistic approach to support her clients. By combining evidence-based practices with cultural sensitivity, Malakeia offers a holistic, empathetic space for clients to feel heard, supported, and empowered on their journey toward self-discovery and authenticity.
